Allana Ferguson bio

Allana first represented Australia at Rugby Sevens back in 2013. After suffering numerous knee injuries throughout many years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana played with distinction for New South Wales in her debut Women's Rugby League match against Queensland in 2015, a game she also participated in the 2015 season. Allana is also a radio player on her resume, making regular appearances on the 2GB's most rated Continuous Call Team. Outside of sport Allana is a qualified teacher. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare privilege of representing Australia at three different sporting events - Rugby Sevens, Rugby League and Touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos' rugby star and fourth-time ACL tearr has ended her football career. Ferguson, who is 25 already, had tears in the same ligaments when she was 15 17, 17 and 20 when she was 17. A fourth tear indicated her playing days were over. Ferguson was the JILLAROOS team's playmaker. The decision to leave was because of her 4th ACL left knee injury. After suffering the injury in November during training, Ferguson, who has been one of the stars of women's rugby league for the past several seasons, verified that news in The Courier Mail.
